Chances are that your family or someone you know has been touched by Coastal Hospice. We serve more than 700 patients in Dorchester, Somerset, Wicomico and Worcester Counties each year, delivering care in patient homes, nursing and assisted living centers and at our inpatient facility, Coastal Hospice at the Lake. We care for all in our community who ask for hospice, putting the patient's needs above all other considerations, including ability to pay.

Many times when we give charitably, we think of giving away money, but it's so much more than that. You're investing in someone's well-being. You're investing in someone's ability to cope with pain. You're investing in someone's ability to have companionship and activities and so don't think of it as out-of-pocket expenditure, think of it as an investment that yields great dividends.

As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, Coastal Hospice  relies on a generous community for uncompensated expenses for patient care and to provide specialized programs.

Your gift of financial support will be used wisely and will serve our local community.

• Nearly 90 percent of our resources are directed to providing hospice care (the balance is used for essential administrative operations).
• Your contribution will stay right here in our community, making it possible for us not only to meet a growing need but to develop new services as needs arise.
