Services are covered by Medicare, Medicaid, and most private insurance policies. A sliding fee scale is applied for those without medical insurance. This is based on financial need. As a nonprofit organization, Coastal Hospice serves those in need, regardless of their financial resources. Donations from the community help us cover the cost of caring for these patients.

Covered services include:

• Visits by all members of the hospice interdisciplinary team
• Medications for symptom control and pain relief related to the terminal illness
• Medical equipment, oxygen and medical supplies related to hospice care
• Inpatient Care for short term symptom management
• Respite Care
• Bereavement support services
