“Life is full of moments that only you and your angels share”
In 2025, the Be an Angel Appeal has raised more than $103,000 to date, with additional donations still arriving by mail. Your generosity brings comfort, dignity, and hope at the moments they are needed most—thank you for being an angel.
In 2025, the Be an Angel Appeal has raised more than $103,000 to date, with additional donations still arriving by mail. Your generosity brings comfort, dignity, and hope at the moments they are needed most—thank you for being an angel.
The Be an Angel Appeal supports vital Coastal Hospice programs that extend beyond what Medicare and insurance provide. Your gift helps offset room and board costs at the Macky & Pam Stansell House and Coastal Hospice at the Lake, while also sustaining our year-long Bereavement Program for grieving families.
While medical care is covered, many of our patients with limited means face essential needs that insurance simply does not fund. The Be an Angel Appeal ensures that no one is ever turned away and that every patient and family receives the compassionate care they deserve.

With your support, we’re able to provide compassionate care through Inpatient Hospice, Residential Hospice, Grief Support, Pediatric Care, and Home Hospice, ensuring no one walks this journey alone.
Inpatient Hospice
Your gift provides a full day of expert, compassionate care at Coastal Hospice at the Lake. Inpatient hospice provides around-the-clock care in a specialized setting for patients whose symptoms cannot be managed at home. Our team offers comfort, dignity, and support for both patients and their loved ones during this time.
Residential Care
Your gift provides a full day of exceptional, compassionate residential care at the Macky & Pam Stansell House. Our facility offers a home-like setting where patients can spend their final weeks or months in comfort and dignity, surrounded by the medical, emotional, and spiritual support they need.
Grief Support
Support free grief counseling and resources for patients and families coping with a serious illness or loss. Your gift ensures no one has to navigate their grief journey alone.
Pediatric Care
Help us provide support to children with life-limiting conditions and their families. Pediatric hospice allows curative treatments to continue alongside hospice services, ensuring each child receives physical, emotional, and spiritual care guided by their family and medical team.
Home Hospice
Make it possible for patients to receive hospice care wherever they call home, whether in a private residence, a skilled nursing facility, or an assisted living community. Our team brings expert, compassionate care directly to the patient’s doorstep.
NO MATTER THE AMOUNT…
Your Donation Will Make a Difference!
Thank you for your continued support and generosity! Remembering the Angels in your life helps Coastal Hospice promote dignity and quality of life for patients and families who face life-limiting conditions, regardless of their ability to pay.
2025 Angel Trees
Thank you to our friends across the four Lower Eastern Shore counties we serve for hosting Coastal Hospice holiday Angel Trees at your locations. These special trees gave our community a meaningful place to hang angel ornaments in loving memory, honoring those angels who continue to be remembered and celebrated.
