The purpose of these support groups is to provide an atmosphere of trust and acceptance in which participants may freely share their experiences\, struggles\, feelings\, and concerns as well as their strengths\, solutions\, and joys. This group will encourage participants to create friendships and network with each other. This support is offered at no cost to any adult who has experienced the death of a loved one\, even if they were not a patient of Coastal Hospice. In partnership with TidalHealth Peninsula Regional\nCardiac disease has become responsible for more deaths than all types of cancer in our community. Through innovations of hospice and palliative care\, Coastal Hospice began a disease specific program in 2023\, helping manage end stage cardiac disease in collaboration with primary care providers and specialists. The goal is to help improve quality of life as well as communicate the patient’s goals of care.
