DESCRIPTION:Struggling with the loss of a loved one? Please join our FREE 6-Week Grief Support Group \nCoastal Hospice grief support groups are increasingly being recognized as an effective way to promote healing through education and support after the loss of a loved one or close friend. Our support group members report a strong positive impact based on both the psycho-educational aspects of groups and the “haven” setting we provide for emotional expression and release of feelings. Doing grief work can lead to self-discovery\, self-reflection\, introspection\, transformation\, and healing. There is growth through grief. \nSupport is offered at no cost and open to all adults who have experienced the death of a loved one—whether or not Coastal Hospice was part of your journey. \nThursdays | 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM\nOctober 2th – November 20th\nNo meetings held on Oct 9th & Nov. 13th \nSnow Hill 50plus Center\n4767 Snow Hill Rd\, Snow Hill\, MD 21863 \nWe request that you wait a minimum of 3 months after the death of a loved one to attend.\nCommitment to attend all meetings is highly encouraged.\nFor the first session\, please bring a photo or item that you feel comfortable talking about as an introduction to the loved one you lost.\nWe will be respectful of people’s time; meetings will start and stop at scheduled times. \nRegistration and support are at no cost.\nTo register\, please contact Rachel Gulley\, Bereavement Counselor at Coastal Hospice\, who will be leading this group at rgulley@coastalhospice.org or 410-742-8732 ext. 324.
