Participants can choose to compete (or not) in a 2-mile Walk or 5K Run at this year’s event on Saturday\, October 18th\, at Assateague State Park (campground – day use – 6915 Stephen Decatur Hwy\, Berlin\, MD). Arrive at 8 AM for registration\, refreshments\, and music with a 9 AM start. \nRegistration includes a dri-fit long-sleeve shirt\, and medals will be awarded to the placing participants in each of the categories following the race. Founded in 1980\, Coastal Hospice is a nonprofit health care organization that cares for individuals facing life-limiting conditions but who want to remain as active and engaged as possible. Coastal Hospice cares for patients in their home\, nursing home\, assisted living facility\, Coastal Hospice at the Lake\, or the Macky & Pam Stansell House. The organization serves Wicomico\, Worcester\, Dorchester\, and Somerset Counties.
