Create a Lasting Legacy of Compassion and Comfort. Leave a meaningful mark by endowing a room, garden, or patient comfort feature at one of our dedicated in-patient hospice care facilities: Macky & Pam Stansell House in Ocean Pines (12-bed facility) and Coastal Hospice at the Lake (13-bed facility).
Your generous contribution will provide a lasting tribute while enhancing the peaceful, supportive environment we offer to patients and their families. Whether it’s a tranquil garden bench, a thoughtfully appointed room, or comforting amenities, your gift helps ensure dignity, serenity, and care for generations to come. Honor. Remember. Make a Difference.
The Macky & Pam Stansell House: A Sanctuary of Care and Comfort
Graciously endowed by Ocean City restaurateurs Macky and Pam Stansell, this beautifully designed 12-bed facility is nestled along the serene and scenic shores of the Isle of Wight Bay. Each private, hotel-style room features a large picture window, offering peaceful views that bring comfort and calm to patients—whether they are with us for a short respite stay or during their end-of-life journey.
Families can take comfort in knowing their loved ones receive compassionate, around-the-clock care, including thoughtfully prepared meals and personalized attention from our dedicated team. Visitors are always welcome, and the surrounding shoreline, wetland vegetation, and tranquil gardens create a natural sanctuary for reflection and connection.
In addition to patient care, the Macky & Pam Stansell House also serves as a vital operational hub for Coastal Hospice, offering much-needed office space and meeting rooms to support our mission and expand our reach within the community.

Coastal Hospice at the Lake: Comfort, Dignity, and Expert Care When It’s Needed Most
Coastal Hospice at the Lake is our short-term inpatient facility, located in a dedicated wing of the historic Deer’s Head Hospital in Salisbury, Maryland. Families and friends are welcome around the clock, with unlimited visiting hours, ensuring loved ones can be present and involved throughout the care journey.
Amenities include:
- A garden room and community kitchen for moments of gathering and respite
- Walking trails around the lake, offering quiet spaces for reflection and peace
- At Coastal Hospice at the Lake, our focus is on relieving discomfort, supporting families, and restoring a sense of comfort and dignity—even in the most critical moments of care.
