45th Anniversary Gala

We celebrated our 45th Anniversary on Thursday, July 17, 2025, at the Fountains Wedding & Conference Center to commemorate more than four decades of dedicated service on Maryland’s Lower Eastern Shore. All proceeds benefit Coastal Hospice’s Charity Care.

The theme, “A Legacy of Care, Built on 45 Years of Experience,” reflects the profound impact Coastal Hospice has made since its founding, and the enduring commitment to compassionate end-of-life care across Dorchester, Somerset, Wicomico, and Worcester counties.

Our 45th Anniversary Gala was an unforgettable evening of heartfelt tributes and vibrant celebration! Guests enjoyed a lavish buffet dinner, open bar, and an exciting silent auction with exclusive items up for bid. We were honored to recognize individuals and partners whose contributions have been vital to our mission. The night came alive with high-energy live music from On the Edge, keeping everyone on their feet and dancing.

Reaching 45 years is not only a testament to the care we provide but also to the strength and support of our community. Thank you to everyone who has helped us build this legacy—staff, volunteers, donors, board members, and the families we’ve had the honor to serve.

As Coastal Hospice looks to the future, this gala serves as both a reflection of its storied past and a recommitment to its mission: to provide expert, compassionate care to individuals and families facing life-limiting illness.
