Join our experts as they share the latest information in Pain Management in Palliative Care. They will address the importance of the multidisciplinary team approach, correct assessment and re-assessment, breakthrough strategies, and the impact that appropriate pain management has in the quality of life of patients and their families.
Objectives:
1. Describe the Neurobiology of pain and potential targets.
2. Compare, contrast nociceptive and neuropathic pain.
3. Know steps of analgesic management and different medications including side effects.
4. Assess and provide effective interventions and follow up.
