Pain Management in Palliative Care

OBJECTIVES:
1. Describe the neurobiology of pain and potential targets.
2. Compare, contrast nociceptive and neuropathic pain.
3. Know steps of analgesic management and different medications including side effects.
4. Assess and provide effective interventions and follow up.
