Home & Facility Hospice Care
Coastal Hospice helps our patients find comfort, dignity and peace at the end of life. The future may be uncertain, but the end of life can be deeply meaningful and full of love. At Coastal Hospice, our home and residential hospice options put you at the center of care.
Home Hospice
Coastal Hospice provides home hospice care wherever you call home; whether it’s your home or the home of a family member, or an assisted living or nursing facility. Our hospice team members visit often, as determined by your unique needs.
Coastal Hospice at The Lake
Coastal Hospice at The Lake is our short-term inpatient facility located in a dedicated wing of the historic Deer’s Head Hospital in Salisbury, Maryland. It is designed to give you or your loved one a temporary stay when intense medical care is needed to treat symptoms that cannot be managed at home.
Stansell House
The Macky & Pam Stansell House is committed to providing a safe, comfortable and compassionate place for hospice patients who cannot safely manage their care at home. Located on the Isle of Wight Bay in Ocean Pines, Maryland, the residence provides the dignity of hospice care with the comforts of home. Room & board is private pay. There may be financial assistance available.
Coastal Kids
The Coastal Kids Supportive Care program does not replace the medical care your child already receives, instead, it supplements medical treatments, providing hospice support while treating the illness aggressively. You can make every day count for your infant, child or teenager with a life-limiting illness. And you can lean on us to help make that happen.
The earlier, the better.
Hospice is about living. Hospice care is the help patients and their families need to make the most of the time they have left. Any patient with a serious illness can benefit from our services. The earlier you call us, the more time you’ll have with our team of professionals who provide comfort, care and support. You may be reluctant to reach out to Coastal Hospice, but families often tell us “I wish we had called hospice sooner.”
